Nuheat’s standard mats (squares and rectangles) are ideal for most room layouts (81 sizes available). Nuheat Mats are 1/8″ thick, easy to install, energy efficient, and can be controlled using a variety of programmable and non-programmable thermostat options.

Our electric floor heating system can use one or a combination of in floor heating mats to deliver under floor heat for the entire room. Nuheat in floor heating mats come in over 60 different standard sizes and are available in both 120 & 240 volt formats. 120v mats are typically used to heat up to 150 sq.ft. on a single thermostat, while 240v mats are used for warming larger areas.

Nuheat electric floor heating systems can be enjoyed in any room where a homeowner is planning to install tile, stone, marble, laminate or engineered wood floors. Bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, stairs, and even countertops can be warmed by Nuheat.

The installation of Nuheat mats is a simple process that takes a fraction of the time when compared to other floor heating systems. The Nuheat Mat(s) is simply adhered to the subfloor using thinset and the flooring can then be immediately installed over top.

Laminate/Engineered Wood Installations

Just like a tile and stone application, Nuheat floor Heating systems can take the chill out of laminate and engineered wood surfaces, ensuring you the pleasure of barefoot comfort in any room in your home. The Nuheat Mat(s) is simply adhered to the subfloor using thinset then covered with 1/4″ thick layer of thinset. Then follow manufacturer’s installation instructions to install the underlay and your laminate or engineered wood floor.

When installing Nuheat under laminate or engineered wood, Nuheat requires the use of the MatComfort 82F programmable thermostat to protect the warranty of your floors.
