Inland Craft DB-100 Band Saw Machine
Inland Craft DB-100 Diamond Band Saw with Blade for Glass, Stone & Tile
The Inland Craft DB-100 band saw with diamond blade is a compact, specialty saw designed for precise, free-form cutting in glass, stone, ceramic tile, porcelain mosaics, shells, and even live coral. With a powerful DC motor, integrated coolant system, and lightweight thermoplastic housing, it’s a smart choice for tile setters, mosaic artists, stained glass workers, lapidary hobbyists, and reef keepers who need tight curves and inside cuts that standard wet saws can’t handle.
Features and Benefits
-
Diamond band saw blade for hard materials
Comes with a 37.7" stainless steel diamond band saw blade engineered for wet cutting glass, stone, tile, ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, silicon, plastics, fiberglass, fiberboard, leather, shells, and live coral. Ideal for intricate mosaic tile cuts and detailed glass work. -
Powerful DC motor with speed control
Permanent magnet DC motor with built-in speed controller delivers up to 3,400 rpm, giving you consistent torque and smooth cutting performance across a wide range of materials and thicknesses. -
Precision tension and tracking system
Five-part, spring-loaded tension system is molded into the frame to keep the blade properly aligned and tracking true. It acts like a shock absorber, helping protect the blade from stress, reducing breakage, and maintaining cut accuracy over long sessions. -
Integrated coolant system for cleaner cuts
Pre-assembled coolant system supplies a continuous, regulated flow of clean coolant directly to the blade. The integrated water control valve lets you fine-tune flow to match material type, helping keep the blade cool, reduce chipping, and extend blade life. -
Internal drain and water management
Internal drain channels and drain tubes collect and funnel dirty coolant away from the blade area instead of recirculating it. This helps maintain a cleaner cutting zone and better visibility of your cut line. -
Adjustable upper drip guide
The upper drip guide can be adjusted for different material thicknesses, ensuring efficient coolant delivery right where the blade meets the workpiece, whether you’re slicing 3" rock or thin glass tile. -
Durable, lightweight thermoplastic housing
Frame, cover, and water reservoir are molded from structural-grade thermoplastic with extra-thick internal walls for strength. The housing will not rust, requires virtually no maintenance, and keeps total machine weight down to just 10 lbs for easy transport. -
Quiet, compact workbench footprint
The molded plastic housing absorbs and deadens motor and blade noise, resulting in a sound level similar to a loud sewing machine. With a small 13" L x 10" W footprint and 18" height, it fits easily on most workbenches or rolling jobsite carts. -
Corrosion-resistant work surface
Large 9" x 10.75" work surface provides ample support for mosaics, tile sheets, glass panels, and small stone pieces. The corrosion-resistant surface stands up well to constant water and slurry exposure. -
Optimized for curves and inside cuts
With a 4.75" throat depth and maximum cutting thickness of 3" for rocks and minerals (1" for solid glass slabs), the DB-100 excels at tight curves, organic shapes, and inside cuts—not at ripping thick slabs. For cutting thick rough rock or glass slabs, a fixed-blade trim or slab saw is recommended. -
Suitable for coral fragging
Designed to handle wet cutting of stony corals, soft corals, and live rock when used with appropriate saltwater care. Includes a one-year warranty, reduced to 90 days when used in saltwater environments.
