Will this clean up old trowels with a lot of build up?

Whether the Trowel Brush can effectively clean up old trowels with a lot of buildup largely depends on the condition and age of the adhesive. While the brush is equipped with stiff nylon bristles and a scraping edge designed to remove thinset and other debris, extremely hardened or aged adhesive may not come off easily with the brush alone.For older, hardened buildup, it might indeed be necessary to use a loosening agent or a solvent designed to break down the adhesive before attempting to scrape it off. This preparatory step helps ensure that the scraping and brushing actions of the Trowel Brush are more effective, minimizing the effort required and protecting the tool's integrity. Regular cleaning, remains the best practice to avoid such heavy accumulations on your trowels.

GEORDI is the BOMB

I cant think of any product better than Ardex (first sealer, then the epoxy in "black licorice" (the color will be a point later). WAIT, I can think of something better....CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I had a problem with my 3rd order...on one phone call Geordi handled it. He and I spoke/exchanced some photos....and in about 34 hours the replacement was at my front door.

NOW here's the interesting aspect. I used "black licorice" epoxy. Where I had to stop I had about 1/3 container left. Rather than letting it harden, (it was going to waste anyway) I got the idea to "fill in divots in my 50 year old blacktop drive way". When I have it sealed I do ask them to "fill in" holes that have developed....but they are NOT going to sit and patch it with a putty knife like I did with the Ardex expoxy. It's been maybe 2 months.....WATERPROOF, adhered like welded steel. Only diff is a slight color variation....and next year when I have a blacktop seal put over....you will NEVER see it. I over-ordered....and I will literally use every bit to seal every crack that I can find, so water does not freeze/crack it further!
