Does the Maxisil Pool fit in a normal caulk gun? Does it include tips and how long.

Thanks

TileTools

Yes, Maxisil Pool fits in a standard caulk gun. For best results, we recommend using a caulk gun with a 12:1 thrust ratio.

It does include an applicator tip/nozzle, and the tip is approximately 3 inches long.

Can this adhesive be used to fill hairline cracks in pool plaster?

TileTools

Maxisil Pool & Fountains Sealant is designed for pools, fountains, and underwater applications, but it is a silicone sealant, not a pool plaster repair compound. It may help seal a very small, non-structural hairline crack, but it would not be the best choice if the plaster itself needs to be repaired or if the crack is moving, widening, or causing a leak.

Will this Dry underwater?

C.

No, Maxisil P cannot be applied underwater. It needs to be applied to a dry surface and allowed to cure properly—4 days but preferably for 2 weeks—before the area is exposed to water. Applying it underwater would prevent proper adhesion and curing, compromising its effectiveness.
