Second set. Love them. You don't have to tighten them down for them to stay in place. They can be relatively loose, and you will forget they're there, which is huge for people that have to wear kneepads for long periods of time. And when you are down on them, you feel supported and stable.

Are they good for newly refinished wood floors or is there a risk of scratching the floor?

Fento kneepads are generally safe for newly refinished wood floors and won't scratch the wood on their own, thanks to their soft PU foam and rubber exteriors. However, there is always a risk of scratching if abrasive dust, grit, or sawdust gets trapped underneath the pads while you kneel.
