Perfect walls

If shower pan from Home Depot is installed already above the lip of shower pan is were I would begin the built with foam ?

Yes, you can use the Built With Foam shims after the shower pan is installed. The shims attach to the wall framing to bring the studs into a flat, even plane; they do not go on top of the shower pan or its lip.

If the pan’s flange projects beyond the studs, the wall may need to be shimmed so the wall board clears the flange. The exact placement depends on your pan and wall board, so follow their installation instructions for how the board and waterproofing meet the flange.

I have used this tape for about 10 yrs

I have used this tape for about 10 yrs. It excels at securing floor paper on hard surfaces. I've left it down for weeks and it comes up clean and in one piece. I also use it to tape off pans and tubs. It will secure tile on corners etc, and the surface does not have to be Sahara dry like with masking tape. I often reuse pieces on the same project the next day.
