wedi® Shower Base Extensions – Curbed Shower Pan Expansion Panels

These wedi® shower base extension panels are the perfect solution for expanding your wedi Fundo® Primo or Fundo Riolito neo shower system. Designed with a uniform slope and built-in waterproofing, these extensions interlock seamlessly with your main shower base, creating a larger, custom-sized curbed shower without compromising on performance or installation speed.

Note: Installation height must be adjusted when attaching to wedi shower bases with perimeter thicknesses over 1.5", including the wedi Fundo Ligno. For off-angle or corner expansion, use the wedi Corner Extension Panels (sold separately).

How to Install

1. Dry-fit and plan the layout
   Determine which extension panels you'll need and mark their connection points to the primary base.

2. Trim as needed
   Use a utility knife or handsaw to trim extension panels for exact fit.

3. Secure with sealant
   Bond panels to the main base using wedi Joint Sealant and reinforce with wedi fasteners where applicable.

4. Waterproof all seams
   Seal joints with additional wedi sealant and Subliner Dry banding for complete waterproof continuity.

5. Tile the same day
   wedi’s fast-curing sealants and pre-sloped design allow for same-day tiling on most jobs.
