Bostik Greenforce

For solid wood flooring greater than 5/8" thick, which applies to 3/4" thick Maple, the recommended trowel size is:

1/4" x 1/4" x 1/4" Square Notch
Coverage: approximately 20 sq ft per gallon when used as adhesive, moisture vapor membrane, and sound reduction underlayment

For adhesive-only installation, use the same:
1/4" x 1/4" x 1/4" Square Notch
Coverage: approximately 35 sq ft per gallon

✅ This ensures 100% substrate coverage and >95% transfer to the back of the flooring, which is required for solid hardwood.

2. What kind of sealer should be used on new plywood subflooring before applying Bostik GreenForce glue?
Per the SURFACE PREPARATION and LIMITATIONS sections of the TDS:

"Do not use over substrates/slabs treated with sealers or curing compounds..."

No sealer should be used on the plywood subfloor before applying Bostik GreenForce. The plywood should be clean, dry, and free of contaminants, but not sealed.
