Match your tooling to the material and cut style for faster, cleaner results. Use continuous-rim blades for smooth cuts on porcelain and glass; pick turbo/segmented blades for speed on granite, marble, and pavers. Run wet when possible to keep temps down and extend diamond life; reserve dry for quick trims and controlled environments. For drilling, select wax-filled dry core bits when water isn’t feasible, or electroplated/vacuum-brazed bits for cooler cutting and longer life—start with a drill guide, no hammer, low RPM, and steady feed to reduce walking and micro-chips. Finish edges with resin or electroplated polishing pads (grits 50–3000) using the correct backer pad and variable speed to move from shaping to gloss. Filter by diameter, arbor, RPM, and wet/dry to match your setup and keep installs consistent.
