What it will not do
This is not a chemical silicone remover, and it cannot restore sealant that has cured or expired inside the cartridge. No manufacturer-tested universal thread size or all-brand fit is established. Follow the tool's instructions, keep hands away from the working end and avoid forcing it against rigid cartridge parts.

Can this save an entire solidified cartridge?
No. It is intended for nozzle blockages, not hardened contents inside the tube.
Should I buy replacement nozzles as well?
For regular sealant work, replacement Corner or Extension Nozzles may be useful, depending on the application and cartridge fit.
