wedi Fundo® Riolito Linear Shower Base with Click and Seal® Drain
The wedi Fundo® Riolito Linear Shower Base is a waterproof, pre-sloped, tile-ready shower base system with integrated linear drainage. Designed to simplify professional shower installations, the Riolito provides a consistent factory-formed slope, reliable waterproof performance, and a clean modern linear drain layout.
Each base is made from wedi’s waterproof XPS foam and is designed to be tiled directly after proper installation. The integrated channel drain allows water to drain in a narrow line, creating a clean finished shower floor design while reducing the labor required for traditional mortar bed construction.

How to Choose the Right Size
- Measure from the center of the 2" floor drain to each finished wall or shower edge.
- Double the longest measurement in both directions to determine the minimum base size needed.
- Select the Riolito model with a drain offset that matches your floor layout.
- Confirm that the required drain height and installation conditions match your project before ordering.
Note: Bases can be trimmed on site, but the original slope geometry must be maintained.

Installation & Compatibility Notes
- wedi Fundo shower elements can be cut to size on site, but the original base geometry should be maintained.
- wedi Fundo shower elements should only be combined with wedi Fundo drains.
- For impact sound insulated floor structures, plan impact sound insulation under the wedi Fundo element and use perimeter isolation strips.
- wedi Nonstep Plan impact sound deadening boards may be used. Approved polyethylene membranes may also be used where appropriate.
- For noise performance, wedi Fundo with Nonstep Plan complies with DIN 4109 LIn ≤ 30 dB(A) and VDI 4100 SSt III ≤ 25 dB(A), caused by water installations.
- Confirm drain type, outlet location, substrate preparation, tile size, and waterproofing details before installation.
