Installation Guide
Outlet Type:
- The Universal Bond Flange Kit has a universal outlet that can connect directly to a 2" waste pipe or adapt to a 3-piece clamping drain with the included adapter.
- The Traditional Bond Flange Kit connects directly to a 2" waste pipe and is not compatible with the clamping adapter.
Shower Pan Type:
- The Universal Kit is best for mortar (drypack) shower pans.
- The Traditional Kit drops into most preformed foam shower trays.
Grate Compatibility:
- The Universal Kit works with ANY FloFX grate, including our Tile-in Grate and Elite Grate Carrier.
- The Traditional Flange Kit works with any standard FloFX Grate.
Grate Adjustment:
- The Universal Kit uses our grate carrier/shim set to adjust the grate horizontally and vertically.
- The Traditional Kit uses a traditional style adjustment ring and grate riser.
